"The Beef Brisket was Perfect"
Written by Steve M
We visited Rocco's at the beginning of Sunday's dinner hour. I was on Crutches, and the Hostess was observant enough to help me with the door. We were seated close by, at a window seat. The Waiter came to our table soon after and got our drink order. We ordered Salads and the two of us ordered the #2 combo, with the salads we each got the best corn muffins we've every had. Our dinner came just as we finished our salads. My meal included Baby Back ribs that were perfectly smoked, and the meatiest I've ever have seen. The Beef Brisket was perfect, and I trimmed less than half a thimble of fat of the meat. Also I had the Smoked sausage, it had been cooked till almost crispy, and till the skin just split. I know this is extremely hard to do, as there is a fine line to burnt. The Waiter enthusiastically filled our drinks several times. On our trips to Williamsburg we will definitely be returning.
"Hard to get Good Chicken Anywhere and this was Cooked Perfectly"
Written by Krista
My husband and I are vacationing in Williamsburg with our two young boys and decided to try this place out.
Prior to our getting our food we were served cornbread muffins that were delicious. They were moist and had a nice sweetness to them.
My husband got the "Combo #2" which was ribs, pulled pork and sausage, and he got sides of baby potatoes and mac and cheese. Everything was cooked perfectly--he even said the ribs were the best he's ever had.
I ordered the Rocco's Chicken, which was two chicken breasts, fried, with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and a balsamic drizzle on top. It was delicious--seriously--I find it hard to get good chicken anywhere and this was cooked perfectly. The outside was super crispy and flavorful and the inside was moist. I also had a side of mac and cheese which was also delicious and the baby potatoes which were also good.
Service was great, although our waitress seemed a bit new and overly nervous. But overall everything was excellent and I'm happy to write a good review for the place.
"Probably the Best Meal I've Ever Had"
Written by Scrayne
This was probably the best meal I've ever had! The meal started off with the most, melt-in-your-mouth, moist, wonderful corn muffins. I could have eaten a dozen of those. Then we got the entrees; Pulled pork platter, Chicken Rocco, and the Catfish platter. My husband had the pulled pork and loved it, I had the chicken which was smothered in mozzarella and chopped tomatoes and drizzled with balsamic vinegar....Amazing!! Our son had the catfish platter with delicious fried catfish, yummy hush puppies and the best fries! So good!!! If you are in the area, don't miss going here!
"I Recommend this Place to Anyone Who Likes Quality Smoked Pulled Pork"

Really liked the pork BBQ. The BBQ is served without sauce. The pork is smoked for 14 hours and tastes so good that i strongly advise not putting any sauce on it at all. There are three kinds of BBQ sauce you can choose from; Bourbon, Hot and regular. I like dipping my fries in the hot BBQ sauce. The cole slaw is unique. It has horseradish and sour cream in it. Very good. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes good quality smoked pulled pork.
"That Pork was DAMN Good"
Written by Kevin Golden
I went here with a friend last Friday on a random whim, and we were both very pleasantly surprised! We got there around 6, and it wasn't packed at first, but by the time we finished up it was slammed! Despite the sudden rise in activity, the service was good. Our waitress was attentive, making sure our food and drinks were coming out. It seemed like the wait staff as a whole was on top of their game.
Their menu is what you'd expect from a place like this: good diversity of BBQ platters, sandwiches, and a few pricier items like seafood and such (I swear I saw a pasta dish or two on there, but that may have been the ghost of Mirabella's haunting me!). They have a good beer selection, with local favorites such as the Ale Werks and O'Connor.
I got the pulled pork platter, and that meat... whoa, lemme tell yeah, that pork was DAMN good. Very tender and juicy. My friend got a platter than included baby back ribs and beef brisket, and the great thing that stuck out to us is how well-cooked the meat was. It doesn't have to rely on being smothered in sauce to taste good, it just is. The sides that I got were baby baked potatoes and baked beans, again both are very delicious. The cornbread they give you as a start to your meal is, as another reviewer said, melt in your mouth good!
Overall, I really enjoyed this place and am already looking forward to coming here again! I hope word of mouth spreads about this place; when I tried to go to their website to check them out, it's still for the old Italian restaurant. Hope they get that fixed soon, because a place that provides quality food like this should succeed!
